Or, Dan's Big Break! Haha!
Dan had a blast dressing up as Richard Simmons for a party at the local retirement center Dow Rummel. We were part of a six-week program they had for residents and the community called "Punch Your Way to Wellness!" (The punch meant punch cards, not boxing, whew!)

What an opportunity! We were thrilled to share the many health benefits of Laughter Yoga with Respiratory Therapists at a conference in Sioux Falls the end of September. Having just got back from the All American Laughter Yoga Conference in San Diego we were excited to laugh with these professionals.
Stumble into a laughter yoga class and you might feel awkward or uncomfortable. After all, a group willing participants that is lead by an instructor through a series of rhythmic clapping, chanting, breathing and laughing is not considered normal.
We had an amazing time at the United Methodist Student Movement Student Forum 2011 in Evansville, Indiana, the end of May. Our son, Taylor, is on the steering committee that organized the event, and we couldn't have been more thrilled to be a part of it.
We had the pleasure of sharing the many benefits of laughter at a conference designed for professional nurses and care providers involved in the care of gerontological patients. It's so fulfilling to share a simple way for professionals to create a connection with their patients through laughter. And what a fun way to end a conference with something fun and memorable. They left feeling positive, relaxed and full of laughter.
